Does Prednisone Shrink Your Brain?

Does prednisone shrink your brain?

Seems like it’s hard to believe…

But a new study shows it does!

The last several weeks I’ve shared videos and articles I’ve written about how prednisone affects our moods.

Boy was I shocked to discover this scientific study published a few weeks ago finally showing a possible reason WHY all of these changes happen.

Watch my new video and discover the answer.

Watch now!

Prednisone can shrink your brain.

There was a study conducted in UK for people that are taking prednisolone whether they are taking them orally or through injections. They did a test where it can determine if that can affect their mood differently.

The people who swallowed prednisone did the worst on a test called a symbol digit substitution task. They showed more

  • depression
  • disinterest
  • tenseness or restlessness
  • tiredness or lethargy

Primary Causes of this Damage are:

Dose-Dependent – The higher the dose the more side effects you’ll likely to experience.

Duration Dependent – The longer time that you are exposed on this drug the more likely you’ll experience the side effects too.

How It Affects the Brain

They found global cerebral atrophy, cortical thinning, and volumetric changes.

So you’ve gotta figure out whether that is right for you.

And that only can be answered between you and your doctor. There’s you have to be able to know that there are many risks, including brain shrinkage, and there are amazing benefits too.
