The first pharmacist in my family would have turned 100 years old today! It made me think about how life was like when he first became a pharmacist.

What would he think of me not even having to touch a pill as a pharmacist?

What a different world now than when he first started practicing!

…That I’d be reaching 1.5 million prednisone searchers every month through a search engine like Google?

…That I could reach people around the world with my own video channel, YouTube?

How would his wife, who was the state pharmacy auxiliary (think housewives party! They literally existed to throw parties as wives of pharmacists, since all of them were male) board member, think of her granddaughter not being part of the auxiliary (cuz it’s gone) but a Doctor of Pharmacy herself?

…That I could patent a formulation just to support those suffering side effects?

…That I could be a pharmacist helping patients on only ONE drug?
