“It’s not you, it’s the drug!”
“It’s not you, it’s the drug!”
Those are the words we need to hear, but too often are not told.
Prednisone not only makes us no longer recognize ourselves in the mirror, but it also makes us not recognize our personalities.
Feel Like a Stranger
Prednisone messes with how we feel, how we react, and makes us feel like a stranger trapped in someone else’s body.
Betrayed
Our own bodies betray us!
Miracle
But this miracle med is keeping us alive and functioning. It’s a terrible price to pay but I’m paying it so I can be a part of this world. It makes me feel miserable but it is truly a miracle.

It’s not me. It’s the drug!
