The Deal With Cheap Prednisone

The “Pop”

On one of the few days I left my house and actually turned on my car during the quarantine, I heard a “pop” sound as I backed up my car in my driveway.

Yikes.

I immediately tensed up, terrified I’d done something horrible.

But I relaxed when I realized the only real consequence included a shattered PVC pipe.

Using scraps from his DIY greenhouse, my husband made swords for each of our children. He even spray painted the hilts gold and the blades silver.

PVC pipes don’t cost much, but he’d made them worth more through his love.

It looks like one of the children left their sword in the garage right behind my tire and I didn’t notice it…

…until I saw its remains strewn across the garage, crushed by my back wheel.

No worries… just a broken sword.

I drove around without incident, parked my car again, and promptly forgot all that.

A week later, when I finally wanted to drive my car again, imagine my surprise when my back tire was completely flat.

I had no idea that the PVC pipe punctured the tire.

Determined that I could take care of this myself, I read the owner’s manual how to replace the tire.

I dragged that heavy spare out between the middle seats, found all the tools, and tried to remove just one lug nut.

No matter whether I pushed or pulled, that lug nut would not move even one millimeter.

I finally gave up trying to put on the spare and resolved to pump up the tire to get it to the tire shop.

But the only pump I have is a bicycle pump.

So I pumped at least ten pumps for each PSI mm change, from 10 up to 30. I wasn’t planning to get my workout that way, but it worked!

The car made it to the tire shop, and two hours and hundreds of dollars later, my car has new tires.

📖 Prednisone Parable 📖

One reason doctors prescribe prednisone includes the low price.

According to ClinCalc online, the average prednisone prescription costs only $4 a month.

Like my cheap PVC pipe, prednisone doesn’t cost much.

But it does have the potential to wreak as much, if not more, havoc and damage on your body than the pipe did to my car.

Like the slow leak caused by the PVC puncture, prednisone causes a slow loss of bone density.

You don’t even realize it’s happening while taking prednisone.

You can’t feel it or sense it.

But prednisone can cause much more devastation than just a flat tire.

To help balance this risk, I created Nutranize® Zone™.

Zone helps weight: inherit;”>reduce your suffering by replenishing your nutrients so that you can recover from prednisone.
