COVID updates for Prednisone Warriors

I’m writing this from my whole family being stuck in Covid quarantine… again!

Things are different now than last year when my kids got Covid on Halloween 💀👻🎃morning and couldn’t go trick or treating. 😭 🍬🍫🍭

What are the medicines that I am taking to cope with COVID?

Here are the list of medicines that has been shown in the video:

1) Ibuprofen

If you are on prednisone, you shouldn’t take ibuprofen and other NSAIDS unless it’s an emergency. These type of drugs can lead to side effects like gastrointestinal upset.  Ibuprofen is helpful with fever, achiness, and headaches.

2) Acetaminophen

Generic for Tylenol which also helps with fever and pain. This is a lot safer to take than Ibuprofen. But if you can think everything is tolerable then don’t take anything!

3) Mucinex DM

A cough suppressant drug. This will help you sleep better at night for a persistent cough.

4) Nutranize Zone

Another Drug that I am currently taking is Nutranize Zone. This is the first and only supplement review on prednisone that I invented! This has melatonin, plus it has vitamin C and zinc in the combination product, so that way you can actually sleep at night.

My Recommendations

Flu Shot

Get your first dose or get your booster dose of the Covid vaccine so that you’re ready for the new variants, and then also get your flu shot.

Get Evusheld

People on prednisone are immunocompromised especially if you’re taking over 15 to 20 milligrams per day!

I recommend this for anybody who is on 15 to 20 milligrams or more of prednisone or are taking other immuno-compromising medications like Cyclosporine or Tacrolimus.

Get Paxlovid

An antiviral combination medication pills that you can take. Ask your doctor if you’re eligible for this!
